Shane R. Ford
 Founding member Shane R. Ford is certified by the State Bar of California as a Certified Family Law Specialist and he currently serves as a board member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS). Mr. Ford is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer in the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions of San Francisco magazine and Northern California Super Lawyers magazine. In addition, Mr. Ford serves as a settlement commissioner for the Alameda County family law courts.
In 2009, Super Lawyers Magazine named Mr. Ford one of the “Top 100 Lawyers” in Northern California, across all fields of law.
Mr. Ford has been a family law speaker and lecturer and is the co-author of several published articles, including "Using Laches to Defend Against Child Support Collection" and "Domestic Partnership Laws and Gay Marriage: an Overview of Recent Events and Pending Legislative Changes".
Mr. Ford graduated cum laude from Illinois State University in 1990. He earned his law degree from Golden Gate University in 1994. Prior to opening the Ford Law Firm, Mr. Ford was the managing partner of Staley, Jobson & Ford.
Mr. Ford is a former associate member of the Earl Warren American Inn of Court; a former director of the Eastern Alameda County Bar Association; co-founder of the Family Lawyer Associate's Group, with members in several adjoining Bay Area counties; a board member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists; a board member of the Alameda County Family Law Association; and a member of the Alameda County Bar Association.
